The Junior Room planted some seeds back in March. We planted sunflowers, lettuce, beetroot, onions, pole beans and potatoes. We transfered these into our raised beds in April. With the help of Mrs Sweeney, we watered and weeded the plants. Everyone got to bring home some lettuce and onions a little while ago. We are looking forward to having some more fresh produce to bring home soon!
We also planted strawberry plants – we are eagerly awaiting them to ripen so we can taste them!
