The Killeshandra Fire Service brought their fire engine to school yesterday and parked up in the Church yard for us to have a look around. They showed us all the different parts of the engine, let us try on their helmets and have a go with the fire hose! They also explained some of the different work they do and ways that we can stay safe, as well as answering lots of our questions.

It was great fun, and we learned a lot about the very important work of the Fire Service. Thank you to Ronan and Pauric for bringing the fire engine in to school, and for all you do to help our community.
