Digital Health Conference

The pupils in 6th Class were invited to a Digital Health Conference in Hotel Kilmore on 3rd March. They heard speakers on topics including bullying, resilience and the impact of screen time on their physical and mental health. This was an excellent and informative event for everyone.

World Book Day

We celebrated World Book Day on 5th March by bringing a favourite book in to school. Everyone prepared an oral book report to share with the children in their class, and we enjoyed having the chance to read and share books together.

Fit for February

We all took part in 3 weeks of Athletics for Fit for February. Everyone enjoyed developing their running, jumping and throwing skills.

Soccer Blitz

We had a Soccer Blitz in school during the first week in February.

Thank you to all the boys and girls who were so positive and encouraging towards the other players.

A special well done to all the children who don’t usually play soccer – we were very impressed with your skills!

Farewell Canon Alison!

We had a special assembly on 31st January 2020 to say goodbye and thank you to Canon Alison. We presented her with some books of our best memories, advice for her new parish and poems that we had written.

We also presented Canon Alison with some gifts, a card, a photograph and a cake to say thank you for everything.

We finished our assembly with a story and we sang some of our favourite songs for Canon Alison, George and Biscuit!
