The Middle Room tested their knowledge of Ulster Scots words yesterday when they completed the Wheen o Wurds quiz.
They couldn’t believe how many words they knew – wee, foundered, teemin, drooth, quare, aye and crabbit were just some of the words that they knew the meaning of, and that they use in everyday conversation.
Everyone got a certificate to show that they have a ‘Wheen o Wurds’ – well done to the Middle Room!
