For our School Tour this year, we headed to Funtasia in Drogheda to their indoor water park and bowling alley.
We left Killeshandra bright and early on the bus and were ready to get into the water as soon as we arrived at Funtasia. We spent a fun-filled 2 hours in the water park – everyone had a great time on slides of all shapes and sizes! A special thank you to lots of the older boys and girls who were so encouraging to the younger children and made sure that they all had the chance to have a go on the big slides!
Everyone was ready for lunch after all that exercise and we enjoyed our packed lunched provided by The Lunch Bag.
After lunch, it was time to head to the bowling alley for a game of ten pin bowling. There were a few strikes and lots of spares as we tried our best to knock down all the pins! Again, the seniors made sure that everyone was able to enjoy their game. Well done everyone!
We boarded the bus again and headed back up the road to Killeshandra, tired but happy. It was a great day – one of the “best tours ever”!
