Peter Crann from We Drum Ireland joined us at school today for a drumming workshop as part of the Creative Schools programme. Peter had a huge array of drums and percussion instruments, and we had the opportunity to play lots of them as well as listen to his performances. Each class joined in with lots of different rhythm and music making activities, then at the end of the day the whole school came together and we and made our very own Killeshandra Drum Band – it was very noisy, but great fun! Thank you very much Peter, it was a great experience for us all.
