To celebrate National Tree Day today, we went for a walk in the forest. It was a beautiful morning as we looked at the trees and collected leaves, nuts and berries. We identified lots of different trees including the oak, beech, ash, sycamore, hazel and hawthorn. We also spotted some mushrooms and a friendly robin! Everyone had a bag to collect lots of interesting things – we looked at these when we came back to school, and will use them to make some lovely Autumn themed art!
