We had a very special visitor in school this afternoon – past principal and good friend of the school, Mrs Beattie, came in to see us and present the Leila Beattie Awards to 6th Class.
This year, all the children in the school selected the qualities and attributes they most associated with our 6th Class students, with the top 3 words selected to describe them. We have lots of kind, active, hardworking, fair, willing, friendly, funny, confident, caring and capable students leaving our school this year – well done everyone!
Mrs Beattie presented 6th Class with a certificate (and a giant chocolate bar!) to mark the occasion. Thank you to Mrs Beattie for joining us on a special day in the lives of 6th Class, and for all the treats you brought for everyone else!
