The Junior Room have been exploring the theme of habitats in Aistear for the month of January. We made polar habitats with shoeboxes and we talked about the different animals that live in polar habitats. In small world, we created different habitats for lots of different animals and wrote some signs too! In the last group, we painted a sunset picture and placed some silhouettes of animals on it.
On the last week of the month, we created homes for animals using the polydrons and lego. We also got our safety goggles out to try to rescue the animals out of the huge pieces of ice!
We can’t wait to explore our new theme of Space this month!
