Yesterday morning, the Middle and Senior Rooms headed to Dublin for our Peace Proms concert. It was an early start, but the day we had been waiting for had finally arrived!
When we reached the RDS, we had a rehearsal with the full orchestra for the first time then excitement levels were building as we ate our lunch and watched the audience arrive.
Then it was time for the show! All the hard work learning the songs and choreography in school over the last couple of months meant we could sing, dance and enjoy the amazing atmosphere in the RDS. There were amazing performances from dancers and musicians (and the audience joined in too!), but the Peace Proms choir were the stars of the show!
It was an amazing day – well done everyone!
