- We had a visit today from Nadia Williams, Education Development Officer with Water Safety Ireland. Nadia spoke to each class about staying safe in the water – we learned how to float to survive, that we should Stay Away From Edges of rivers and lakes and what the different flags mean at the beach. We also had the chance to throw a ring buoy and practise what to do in a rescue situation. Thank you Nadia for a most interesting and informative morning!
