Yesterday we met with St Mogue’s N.S. at their school for a Heritage Day as part of our PeacePlus programme. Mr Conefrey had a fantastic day planned for everyone with lots of different workshops for us to take part in, focusing on Heritage.
Everyone had the opportunity to search for artefacts in The Big Dig, learn about the Vikings in Ireland, help with Rope Making, take part in some Irish Mythology story telling and practice some Gaelic Football – thank you to Mr Conefrey and all those who led the workshops. We really enjoyed the day, meeting our friends from St Mogue’s and learning lots about our heritage!
