We had a visit today from Lucy Forde who a Heritage in Schools specialist. Lucy taught us about the history of milling in Ireland. We also got some hands-on experience using ancient tools to make flour and helped to bake brown bread. We really enjoyed getting involved in making our own bread and tasting the end result!
