This morning we marked the end of our celebrations for Seachtain na Gaeilge with a céilí sa halla. We had singing, dancing, poems, musical performances and even the haka as Gaeilge! Bhí maidin iontach ceoil, rince agus spraoi againn!
Today was also the last day of our Book Fair – thank you to everyone who supported this event and bought books and stationery, we will be able to add some books to our school library as a result.
We had a competition as part of the Book Fair – the children had to choose a book from the Book Fair and think about what book the author might write next. They designed a cover, including a blurb, for their new book. Thank you to Mrs Comiskey and Mrs Sweeney who judged the competition and a huge well done to our winners – we would love to read these books!
