To mark St Patrick’s Day and Seachtain na Gaeilge, we had a Céilí in the Hall today. It was a celebration of poetry, music and dance – we have so many talented performers in our midst! We had all been learning Cailín na Gaillimhe and started off with a whole school performance.

We had a whole host of wonderful musical performances – we had tunes on guitar, violin, bango, piano and tin whistle!

We also had some fantastic Irish dancers who showed off their skills!

There were some poems, recitations, songs and prayers – well done everyone!

We finished off our céilí with An Damhsa Mór where everyone had the chance to join in!

Maith sibh go léir – bhain gach duine an-taitneamh as an gcéilí!
